I require certain things in my books that were all missing with this story. Walk through it with me, won't you? (Spoiler alerts) 1. Believability even in a fantasy. *Absent in the fact that the book started out with an alien orgy at a hotel and ends with her ex-boyfriend already knowing her new alien love interest. Really?! In all the universe she dates two men who already know each other?! 2. A natural progression to the relationship with some emotional connection between the M/F leads. *Absent because the "hero" was drugged/ in pain/ being a pain/ or trying to stay away from the main female character for the majority of the book. Then POOF he wants to stay with her forever. I felt the little brother's emotions were much more accessible and I honestly felt more connected to him through out the book 3. I want sex in the first 60% of the book. If I have to wait til 75% of the book is gone then that means that there will be one, maybe two rushed encounters - and then it's over. Not good enough. This was my first foray into this author's work. It will be my last. Sad.

The Abduction A Science Fiction Alien Romance The Sa Tskir Brothers Chronicles Book 1 edition by Zoe Druski Romance eBooks Reviews

This is a full length ebook, picking up in the next book with this characters best friend. When I started reading this story I thought it was going to be like every other alien abduction story out there but it wasn't. There were some nice twists I didn't see coming. There were minimal to no main sex scenes and the main sex scenes there had been were a bit boring and nothing surprising. The only really boring part of the story is how earth-llike the aliens are except for the occational growling/purring and cat like reactions and of course the stripes on there bodies but that's about all the differences. However even so, I enjoyed the story. I'm going to start reading the next ebook to see where the author takes the story.
Having never read anything by Erin Durante before I was a little unsure of what I would be getting when I first purchased "The Abduction", but I have to say that from the very first page this strangely captivating alien abduction romance hooked me and didn't let go until the very end.

This is a story about Samantha, her alien abductor (who happens to be her mate) and his brother who Samantha is oddly attracted to in a wholly sensual way. The love triangle between them all is filled with lust, affection, anger, violence, aggression and an unrelenting wave of fun as the three battle themselves and each other as the novel progresses. This is the type of that you can't put down, the need to finish it and see where they all end off at... where the relationships between them all settles is intense and hot in a gloriously memorizing way.

Ms. Durante has a flair for writing and captivating the audience with words that spark off the pages and paint the scenes in colorful detail. From the exciting abduction of Samantha from Earth to the final result of Samantha's alien adventure, this was a lively novel that has me eager to see what else the author has written.
I really wanted to give this at least a 4 star review, but there is just too much wrong with it. The author needs to fully proof read and edit the story to remove the many glaring typos and inconsistencies. Many times she mixes up the brothers' names, the worse offense being after Samantha has sex with one of them for the first time. Using the brother's name was a bit jarring at that point.
Still, I would have given it 4 stars anyway, except for the interactions between Krissik and Rikist. Not wanting to reveal any spoilers, but it seemed to me that their fight to near death after Samantha discovered the results from the doctor would have precluded any further dealings with the loser of that fight. If it wasn't the author's intent to give the reader the impression Samantha would have been killed, she should have done that whole scene different. Because it left the ending more than a bit far fetched for me.
On the positive side, I loved the story itself and Rikist was a wonderful character. I could almost visualize him with all the detail given, and it was easy to see why Samantha favored him.
Fix all the typos and the inconsistencies, and you'll have a winner here!
I don’t believe in restating the description of a story. You can read that on any book site and usually at least half of the reviews consist of a recap of the description.

… so what I thought about the story is that it was great. I was actually quite surprised at where it led to. The only complaint I have is that I thought the heroine, Samantha was a bit too nasty at times. I get that she was in fact kidnapped, so she had a right to be angry. But after describing the sincerity of Krissik and Rikist, it just seemed inappropriate. Otherwise, it was a great plot, very exciting and had me flipping the pages to see what would happen next.

Editing is a big issue for me – and apparently most other – so I rate each book on a 1-10 scale (1 being the least amount of errors, 10 being, "wtf are they talking about?") I give this one a 3. There were quite a few misspelled words but not complete confusion. Just a single word here and there. So while it needed some editing it wasn’t a complete mess.

Paragraph usage was done well, and so was the dialogue between the characters. Another words, the author knows how to use contractions.

I would definitely recommend this book and I look forward to more from this author.
I enjoyed this book. I gave this book 3 stars because The book has misspelled words, and word usage errors. While the plot and characters were very interesting, I felt the book was missing something. After taking a few minutes to think about what this book was missing, I have come to the conclusion that the Author did not really build upon the alien world. We start at the abduction to another planet, and end back up on earth, with not much in between.

You know when you are reading a really AWESOME book, you get sucked into the world, and can picture the world in your minds eye, and even become one of the characters. That was what was missing in this book for me. I wasn't pulled in. While I liked the characters and plot, the Author missed a chance to make a good book, AWESOME.
